Secrets of Taming Your Inner Caveman or Cave

As you survey the path ahead, your vision locks with laser focus onto your target. Your body knows it's time for a fight and the adrenaline starts to cause the blood to flow into your arms and hands. You breathing becomes shallow and you can see your unsuspecting target. The time has come.

Suddenly, you sense that another hunter has focused his attention on the target too. YOUR target. This is going to get ugly. Not only do you have to act immediately before the opportunity passes, but you're going to have to compete with another hunter.

With reflexes honed over thousands of years of evolution you act with the swiftness of a coiled rattlesnake, punching the accelerator of your mini van to the floor replica van cleef and arpels diamond ring and zooming into the last parking space in this section of the Mall parking lot.

As you read the paragraphs above, could you feel the tension mounting? Could you feel the thrill of the hunt? The grim preparedness of impending mortal combat? If you were let down when you read the last sentence that revealed the story was about competing for a parking space don't be. Situations like this happen to people every day, and the internal response the release of the hormones that govern fight and flight are the same ones that happened to our distant ancestors for whom the fight/flight response was a matter of life replica van cleef ring and death.

Survival is coded into our DNA. It the primary job of the fight/flight response and it is what has ensured the survival of our species from predators, natural disasters, and the IRS. (Just kidding about the IRS.)

This need to survive has developed of the hundreds of thousands of years that the human race, in whatever form it took along its evolution, has existed. The development of this survival instinct has kept with the changes in our environment over time. That is, up until around 1844 the beginning of the industrial revolution.

From the time that Samuel Morse tapped out his first telegraph message on May 23, 1844 until the present, our environment has undergone more changes that it had done in the previous ten thousand years. Our internal circuitry that controls the fight/flight response the instinct that help ensure our survival has become utterly confused about what constitutes a real threat and what doesn the good old days when our ancestors had to defend against saber toothed tigers or against members of neighboring tribes, the stress hormones that give us the ability to fight ferociously or flee expediently get processed during the act of fighting or fleeing.

But what happens when those same hormones get secreted when our access to parking close to the mall entrance is threatened? They don get processed in the same way because, even though your subconscious mind when into crisis mode, your conscious mind knew that there was no real danger at hand.

This occurrence of going into fight/flight mode for no good reason happens to almost all of us, again and again, day in and day out over our whole lifetime. The effects on your health when you living in a constant state of high alert can have a devastating effect on your health and your ability to fight off real predators like colds, flu and other opportunistic dis eases.

In my replica van cleef & arpels engagement ring next article I reveal the identity of the energy circuits that control the fight/flight response and point you to a video that shows you some ways that you can restore them to the balanced and healthy state they were intended to be in even when you have to fight the cave person from the neighboring tribe for that parking space right next to Best Buy.

Seabirds 'blighted

About 90% of seabirds have eaten plastic and are likely to retain some in their gut, a new analysis estimates.

The study concludes that matters will only get worse until action is taken to stem the flow of waste to the oceans.

Researcher Erik Van Sebille says the oceans are now filled with plastic and replica van cleef & arpels ring it is "virtually certain" that any dead seabird found in 2050 "will have a bit of plastic in its stomach".

Dr Van Sebille and his colleagues report their work in the journal PNAS.

On one level, the analysis is shocking, but on another, its findings seem depressingly familiar.

Numerous studies have now catalogued the rising mass of plastic debris being dumped, blown or simply washed out to sea; and it is having a deleterious impact on the marine environment.

To the foraging bird, a discarded plastic cigarette lighter or a shiny bottle top can look like a fish. If ingested, this litter may simply stay in the gut, unable to pass through, putting the animal's health at risk.

As more and more plastic waste finds its way into the oceans about eight million tonnes a year in one recent estimate so the hazards to wildlife increase.

Media captionErik Van Sebille: Cut the waste and "birds could bounce back"

In their PNAS paper, the Australian and UK scientists reviewed decades of peer reviewed literature to trace the evolution of seabirds' exposure to plastic debris.

Back in 1960, the data showed that maybe fewer than 5% of birds would be found with waste fragments in their stomach.

Today, this figure is roughly 90%. And, on current trends, by 2050, the team predicts that plastic ingestion will touch 99% of the world's seabird species, with nearly every individual affected.

"Plastic in seabirds is ubiquitous, and it's increasing," study leader Chris Wilcox from CSIRO, Australia's federal research agency, told BBC News.

To get to its 2050 extrapolation, the team had to understand the hotspots of risk, by overlaying the known foraging behaviour of the world's 400 or so seabird species on to the known distribution of plastic waste at sea.

This approach demonstrated that the regions of highest risk are not where most floating plastic congregates, which is in the centres of the great ocean gyres, sometimes dubbed "garbage patches" or "islands" for the way the debris just goes round and round.

Rather, the zones of highest concern are where most seabirds are found, which is in a band in the Southern Ocean, near Australia, South Africa and South America.

Once thought of as having pristine waters, this region is now sufficiently polluted to ensure a great array of species encounters replica van cleef arpels between finger ring some waste.

"A pristine ocean doesn't exist anymore," said Dr Van Sebille, who is affiliated to Imperial College London.

"Every ocean is now filled with plastic. Some have more than others, but what we found is that even the oceans that are not known for their plastic they still have quite a bit of plastic and they can be where the harm is really done van cleef alhambra ring replica just because that's where all the birds live."

Another key finding from the research is that the problem really is solvable. If only the stream of plastic waste getting into the oceans can be shut off, then seabirds have the capacity to recover quite quickly.

Dr Wilcox explained: "Because exposure to plastic turns out to be a strong predictor of how much plastic the birds have in them; that is, the more plastic they're exposed to, the more they ingest this implies that if we reduce the amount of plastic going into the oceans, you would expect all these species to essentially respond.

"And this makes this problem different from something like climate change. It ought to be relatively easy to fix."

Jenna Jambeck from the University of Georgia, US, is an expert on plastic waste issues. She was not involved in the study but said it had eloquently made the link between solid waste management practices on land, the plastic input into the oceans, and the impacts being felt by seabirds globally.

"It illustrates that if we implement solutions to reduce plastic input into the oceans, we can reduce impacts to individual seabirds.

"Solutions include improving solid waste management where it is lacking, and also working upstream on product redesign and materials substitution moving towards a more circular system," she told BBC News.

Sisters Deborah Lee Shelton And Victoria Lee Specials Vanish 32 Years Apart

For 65 days in 1969, Marcia Shelton watched, waited and hoped against all odds that her missing 12 year old daughter would turn up safe and sound.

The agonizing passage of those nine weeks in the city of Aptos, Calif., ultimately ended with the discovery of Deborah Lee Shelton's badly decomposed remains. The child, police said, suffered a violent death at the hands of an unknown assailant.

For 32 years, Marcia Shelton lived with, and eventually learned to cope with, the loss of her young daughter. She learned to live for three decades with numerous unanswered questions.

Then, in December 2001, there was another tragedy as equally disturbing as the first.

"They say lightning shouldn't strike twice but it does," Marcia Shelton told The Huffington Post.

That second lightning strike was the disappearance of her second daughter, Victoria Lee Specials.

Marcia Shelton found herself left with the memories of two daughters, taken under mysterious circumstances three decades apart.

"It brought Debbie's case all back to me," knock off clover earrings van cleef she said of the disappearance of her second daughter.

In January 1969, Deborah Shelton was a seventh grader at Aptos School. An auto accident took the life of her father, James Vern Shelton, three years prior and she, along with her mom and her sisters Melissa, 5, and Vicki, 11 had recently moved to the area from Los Gatos.

The circumstances leading up to Deborah's disappearance are rooted in the events of Friday, Jan. 3, 1969.

"Debbie wanted to go mini bike riding with some other kids," Marcia Shelton said. "I did not want her to go because I was worried about her getting on a mini bike. I finally relented and said OK, but I told her that she had to be home by noon because she had a dentist appointment."

Deborah left home at about 9:30 that morning. She told her mom that she was going to meet her friends near the Aptos railroad bridge and that they were going to ride to a nearby beach.

According to Deborah's close friend, Loni Reeder, she had planned the ride for about a week.

"I saw her at church in December 1968, right at Christmas time," Reeder told HuffPost. "She mentioned an older guy that she was interested in. His name was Sherman She told me they were making a plan to go mini bike riding."

What happened to Deborah after she left her house copy van cleef arpel earrings is unknown. She never made it home for her dentist appointment, and the only possible clue as to what might have happened that day came in the form of a phone call a call Marcia Shelton initially thought was a prank.

"I came home from taking my other daughter to an appointment and Debbie wasn't there," Shelton said. "The phone rang and there was a young voice that said, 'We have your daughter. We want $500. Drive out to Trout Gulch Road.'"

Shelton said she thought that the call "was a joke" and hung up. It was only later, she said, that she realized "it probably wasn't a joke." Unfortunately, the individual never called back.

When local law enforcement received a report about Deborah's disappearance that evening, they conducted multiple searches for the young girl. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to find any sign of her.

The search ended on March 8, 1969, when a young boy who was out shooting his BB gun stumbled upon badly decomposing human remains in a wooded area about 100 yards from the Aptos Bridge. The medical examiner estimated the remains had been there for at least a month.

Deborah's disheveled clothing and other evidence found at the scene suggested her killer strangled her with her underwear. Remnants of tape found around her neck suggested that her mouth was also taped shut prior to death.

While the scene was suggestive of a possible sexual assault, the condition of the remains made it impossible for the coroner to determine whether or not this was the case.

"She never told me what he looked like, aside from him being really cute, so I didn't have any description to give them," Reeder said. "Now, on reflection, I wonder if that was even his real name."

Deborah's mom had her buried in Saratoga's Madronna Cemetery, where the girls' father was buried three years earlier. Her murder remains unsolved.

According to Ryan Kennedy, a spokesperson for the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office, there have been no recent developments in the case.

"There's a certain time where we come to a point to where we don't have any more copy van cleef flower earrings [leads to follow] and we just kind of have to sit on [cases like this], but they're never gone," Kennedy told HuffPost. "Whenever we get more information, we open them right back up If there's information, we're going to explore it."

taxi changes put on hold

SubscriptionsGo to the copy van cleef arpel earrings Subscriptions Centre to manage your:My ProfileProposed changes to Halifax's taxi rules were put on hold Wednesday after cab drivers van cleef flower earrings fake raised concerns about increasing the number of wheelchair accessible vans.Currently, there are 47 wheelchair accessible taxis among the 1,000 taxi vehicles in the Halifax area. A staff report recommended all future taxi licences be wheelchair accessible.Members of the taxi industry objected."So much of the population is actually aging and a huge per cent of our base are seniors. Every day, we get hundreds of calls from seniors saying, 'I can't get up into a van, I cannot get up into an SUV," said Angie Herman, co owner of Casino Taxi. She said they get more "no van" calls from seniors than calls for accessible vans.Taxi drivers say creating a fleet of wheelchair accessible vans doesn't mean the service for the disabled will improve unless they are assigned to specific zones."So that people in Sackville can get one within ten or 15 minutes," said Dave Buffet of the Halifax Taxi Drivers Association."Right now Satellite Taxi in Sackville will tell you, 'We can't get any.' People will call us every day; every day we say there are none in Sackville. We want accessible taxis in the right numbers and in zones so we can knock off clover earrings van cleef provide service."The proposed changes were supposed to go to regional council, but instead the transportation committee asked staff to take another look and hold a townhouse meeting with the taxi industry.

Romania country profile

There have been several complex exchanges of territory over the years, not least when the area formerly known as Bessarabia went to the USSR following a pact between Hitler and Stalin. That region now forms a large part of the Republic of Moldova. Romanian, a Romance language, is essentially the same as Moldovan although the latter has undergone more influence from Russian.

The legacy of communist era leader Nicolae Ceausescu, who was feared and loathed in approximately equal measure, lingered long after the uprising which brought his execution on Christmas Day 1989.

Former communists dominated politics until 1996 when Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry fake a centrist government came to power. It became involved in prolonged political feuding which did little or nothing to promote economic reform. The left returned in 2000 when Ion Iliescu was re elected president.

Failure to push ahead sufficiently with reforms meant that the country was not on the list of new EU members four years later. However, in April 2005 Bucharest signed the EU accession treaty, paving the way for Romania eventually to join the union in January 2007.

The Romanian economy suffered badly in the global financial crisis of 2008, prompting the government to launch a draconian austerity programme in 2010. This led to major street rallies and clashes with police in January 2012, which brought down the government of Prime Minister Emil Boc.

He gained a second endorsement from the electorate in a May 2007 referendum when they rejected an attempt by parliament to impeach him. MPs had decided by a large majority to remove him from office, accusing him of exceeding his constitutional powers.

The attempt to impeach the president followed tension between him and the government of then Prime Minister Calin Tariceanu over the pace of reforms.

Mr Basescu won the December 2009 presidential election by a very narrow majority over the opposition Social Democrats' Mircea Geoana.

Since he came to power, Mr Basescu has drawn international praise for his anti corruption efforts and for preparing Romania to join the EU.

In 2005 Mr Basescu started the process of opening the files of the feared communist era secret police the Securitate. Classic fake van cleef jewelry Researchers cleared him of accusations that he collaborated with the Securitate.

Mr Basescu was 53 at the time of his election. He was transport minister between 1996 and 2000.

His predecessor, Ion Iliescu, had dominated Romanian politics since the fall of communist dictator Nicolae Ceausescu in 1989. Under his Social Democrats, Romania entered Nato and moved towards EU membership.

Prime minister: Victor Ponta

Victor Ponta became Romania's third prime minister in less than six months when his left wing dominated Social Liberal Union (USL) alliance took charge in May 2012 after toppling its predecessor in a confidence vote.

Mr Ponta's government, which came to power by capitalising on mounting discontent over austerity policies, faces elections in November 2012.

"This is a special government designed for special times. It has a limited mandate of six months until the parliamentary elections," Ponta told a news conference.

He promised to stick to a deal with international lenders while seeking to correct social imbalances.

Romania obtained a 20 billion euro ($26 billion) rescue package from the IMF, the EU and the World Bank in 2009, in exchange for steps to cut public spending, which helped it emerge from recession.

Mr Ponta replaced Mihai Razvan Ungureanu, who in February 2012 succeeded Emil Boc, who had resigned amid violent protests fake VCA ring price at his government's drastic public spending cuts.

Romania has one of the most dynamic media markets in southeastern Europe. TV is the medium of choice, with Pro TV, Antena 1 and Realitatea TV being leading privately owned outlets. TVR is the state owned broadcaster.

There is a competitive pay TV sector, and cable and satellite are key platforms for delivery. Digital terrestrial TV (DTT) has still to get off the ground.

There are more than 100 private radios. State owned Radio Romania operates four national networks and regional and local stations.

The constitution upholds freedom of expression, but prohibits "defamation of the country". Reporters Without Borders (RSF) said in 2010 that Romania "now considers the media a threat to national security and plans to legally censor its activities". It said a draft law would ban "any kind of insulting comment" from websites.

Around 7.8 million Romanians were online by June 2010 (Internetworldstats).

The 8 Strangest TV Show Ideas Ever Made

When I compiled this list, step one was disqualifying everything from Japan. They only make TV shows in Japan because they're trying to get rid of a surplus of adult diapers and Japanese people, and they're not subject to our interpretation of sanity. If they were, one person in the history of the world might have said, "I bet they don't really buy used panties from vending machines over there." Also, I eliminated every show that was intentionally strange. This should save you the trouble of typing your favorite silly cartoons in the comments section, or at least it would have if you weren't already there doing that. For everyone else who has made the brave decision to relax and enjoy jokes about crazy things, you can start now.

At first glance, this seems far more awesome than insane. Men fighting beasts is a great idea for a show. It's by far the best way for both things to die (in your face, cancer and bear cancer), and if you're not curious about who would win between a man and a beast, that's probably because you're more curious about who would win between a man and a dick tampon. I hear you talk a lot about how you're three times stronger than us, chimpanzees, but it's just a pile of fruity gym muscles if you don't back it up. I say we meet in a steel cage and the loser leaves Hominidae.

The second problem with the show is that the only thing most animals know how to do on cue and with any enthusiasm is fight to the death or impregnate a surprised chicken. When you take those off the table you're left with a tug of war or maybe a race or something. The producers tried their best to come up with events, but the main reason most animals are sandwiches is because they suck at everything. Their competitions were things like a hot dog eating contest against a bear, an obstacle course race between a Navy SEAL and an ape, and 44 dwarves vs. an elephant in an airplane pulling showdown. Incidentally, if I had a show about men fighting animals and animal rights groups and uncooperative kangaroos ruined all my good ideas, 44 dwarves pulling an airplane against an elephant is exactly how I would tell everyone to screw themselves.

Bosom Buddies was originally going to be an ordinary comedy about two single guys, but someone said something wrong during a pitch meeting. One of the producers claimed Billy Wilder as an influence and mentioned the film Some Like it Hot which got an ABC executive to suggest that it'd be hilarious if the men in the show were dressed as women. In a perfect world, you'd expect the other ABC executives to say, "Sorry about that guy he suggested the same thing in our meeting with $10,000 Pyramid and the NHL." We don't live in a perfect world, so the other executives said, "Ha ha ha ha! Dresses!? And men!? Sold!"

Now the show had to find a reason for the main characters to be in drag every episode. Their characters moved into a women only hotel by disguising themselves as women. You know your show's premise is good when rapists hear it and gasp, "Oh my god, that's genius." The show was cancelled after two seasons because the only thing more ridiculous than wearing a dress to trick your landlord is doing it for a third year. Plus, Tom Hanks and Peter Scolari's woman costumes were about as believable as two men in wigs making no effort to disguise their voices. They lived in a world where everyone was so easy to trick, there was no need for the elaborate scheme. They might as well have put a jar of mayonnaise on roller skates and shoved it into the manager's office shouting, "That's not male mayonnaise! Rent her an apartment! Actually, rarg! I'm God! Rent an apartment to Tom Hanks and Peter Scolari!"

The circus has never translated well to television, probably because when you film fifteen clowns climbing out of a car, the only thing that shows up on the tape is grainy footage of how you're going to die. Aside from that, the circus is filled with death defying spectacles and exhibitions of impossible skill, which makes it strange that it didn't find a place on television until CBS replaced all the highly trained performers with Perfect Strangers cutup, Bronson Pinchot! To make matters worse, the script for Circus of the Stars was an onslaught of puns. There was a moment when "Weird Al" Yankovic was putting his foot behind his head on a sway pole where "Downtown" Julie Brown whined "How's that for getting a leg up on the situation?" Co host Alan Thicke turned to look at her and you could actually see him silently convince himself not to punch her mouth off.

What was especially weird about the show was that they didn't use celebrities with secret circus talents. Did any among us assume "Weird Al" couldn't put his foot behind his head? Circus of the Stars was like a self indulgent party the stars threw for themselves to show their annoyed friends what they learned in a weekend trapeze workshop. It wasn't very entertaining, and you felt less educated after knowing the cast members of Family imitation Van Cleef & Arpels jewelry copy Ties were average to below average loose rope walkers. That being said, when I was a kid and saw Brooke Shields' amazing act of taking off her pants and telling dogs what to do, I knew immediately that my future sex life was going to get kind of dark.

Prince of Poets is a televised competition show for amateur Arab poets who perform for a studio audience. I imagine none of that sounds that strange yet. What's strange is the sheer scale of it. One second of Prince of Poets costs more than an average American couple makes in a lifetime of selling their children to Arabic human hunters. It's one thing to hear that people in Abu Dhabi are into poetry, but it's another to see a camera crane swoop down over the heads of 20,000 screaming poetry fans to a man in the center of an MC Hammer stage set reading a poem off a sheet of copier paper. No one has ever spent so much money for so much boredom since San Antonio drafted Tim Duncan.

After each man or extremely oppressed woman finishes his or its poem, a panel of four judges scream, probably because there's no nice way to say anything in Arabic. In fact, their word for beautiful can't be pronounced without a second butthole. They must be doing something right, though; because the United Arab Emirates apparently employs four entire people as poetry critics. In America, we don't even employ that many auto workers. In America, poetry criticism was just a college course fraternity members take to learn how to trick their dates into falling asleep.

Armed Famous took celebrities, mostly the bad kind, and gave them jobs as police officers. This wasn't that crazy an idea when it was 600 pounds of aikido action star, but when it's La Toya Jackson, that's irresponsibly insane. 80% of physical activity violates the warranty of her face parts. And isn't there an Indiana state law about giving a badge to hissing necrotic tissue stretched around a mannequin? The other celebrities involved were Jack Osbourne, Trish Stratus, Wee Man, and Erik Estrada. You shouldn't ever send the actual Erik Estrada to arrest someone. Think of how few psychoactive drugs it would take for you to see something like fake van cleef & arpels clover diamond ring that and decide nothing around you was real.

You might have heard of the American show called Cheaters where a film crew uses hidden cameras and trickery to bust people being unfaithful. It's most well known for being the show where an angry cheater stabbed the host. Strangely, this stabbing generated no official police or medical reports. Why, that's almost. suspicious. And it takes less evidence than that for a cynic to see a show like Cheaters and decide it's staged. Most people reading this are certain that all reality shows are fake, but it's not nearly as bad as you untrickable geniuses think. Some of those horrible people really are cheating on their girlfriends in front of hidden cameras. Probably.

The Secretos surveillance gear is so unbelievable that Mexican Batman gets jealous when he watches it. They zoom in on VCA clover ring replica thumbprints in Mac Image Viewer. The vanity mirrors in their SUV's sun visor tracks your DNA from space. And without exception, each episode involves their agents installing spy cameras in likely cheat locations. These "cameras" are any random chunk of metal they find lying around a zipper, a peseta. they don't give a shit. And while the spy is distracting the mark to install the secret "camera," several non secret cameras film them both. You're never quite sure as a viewer when the show is calling you stupid or just hoping you're stupid.

They have to know that we know that it's fake, but the show is clearly paying its performers reality wages. You can tell because the women aren't getting enough money to kiss the actors. Their spies will watch a six hang out in her underwear until the married man she's fucking comes shows up, and then the two of them will share a polite hug. If it's a steamy episode they'll pretend to neck. I swear the pitch for this show was, "I propose we try to understand these baffling human monsters better by hollowing some out and recreating their worst entertainment."

At first glance, WMAC Masters might look like Jean Claude Van Damme's colonoscopy footage. That's because it is. It was a combination of Mortal Kombat and Saved By the Bell set in some kind of karate future where Battlezone warriors lived and smashed ice. The plot was almost entirely spin kicks it's what a throwing star would write if it could type. The cast was made up of martial arts stunt performers who never learned how to deliver a line because every director who gave them notes is dead. Their names were Great Wolf! Red Dragon! Striking Eagle! Star Warrior! They made the American Gladiator names sound like Toyota hybrids. WMAC Masters is the first union show without a full time caterer because every week the actors simply nourished themselves on the soul of the weakest among them.

says defiant Van Gaal after United draw

LONDON (Reuters) Under fire manager Van Cleef & Arpels rose gold ring copy Louis van Gaal said he would not quit after Manchester United extended their run without a victory to eight games in all competitions with a 0 0 draw with champions Chelsea in the Premier League on Monday.

Sixth placed United produced an improved display at Old Trafford, having limped to a 2 0 defeat at Stoke City on Saturday, enjoying two thirds of the possession without being able to break down Chelsea's defence.

Asked about the constant media speculation over his job, Van Gaal told BT Sport: "I cannot have any influence on that. I can only work with my players and you have seen my players are fighting for me and they have given a good performance.

"Even after this result, the fans were applauding so I cannot say I am very much concerned but in this football world you never know.

"I have full confidence in the board and in my players. When the players can give such a performance under this pressure, then it is not any reason to resign for me. Maybe the media wants that but copy Van Cleef & Arpels ring I shall not do that," added Van Gaal.

The Dutchman said United should have been given two penalties after Chelsea midfielder Willian handled the ball and when Cesar Azpilicueta challenged his former team mate Juan Mata in the box.

"We hit the post twice when the keeper was beaten, had a big chance in the second half and two penalty cases . so we are forcing the luck but don't have the luck we need," explained Van Gaal.

"Against Stoke I said in the first half we didn't dare to play but that's a big difference today, we dared to play and pressed a lot.

"We were the dominant team, we created chances, we shot on goal and only gave three chances away. Van Cleef & Arpels wedding ring fake Against a team like Chelsea . that's not bad."

United supporters have been critical of Van Gaal, his tactics and the players in recent weeks but the Dutchman was heartened by their reaction on Monday.

"They applauded the players . and they were enthusiastic," he said. "Of course, a lot of fans are disappointed because we need a win. I know that, the players know that, every member of staff knows that, the board knows that.

"People are still applauding, not everyone but most of them. The most important thing is the players can do what they have done today and then the fans can be satisfied."

Seem To Understand The Concept Of Winter

winter) the climate can't be changing.

As NASA points out ironically a group the Science Committee oversees weather and climate are two vastly different things: "Weather is what conditions of the atmosphere are over a short period of time, and climate is how the atmosphere 'behaves' over relatively long periods of time. When we talk about climate change, we talk about changes in long term averages of daily weather."

Scientists almost universally agree that the climate is changing and humans are the primary cause.

But even if the House committee were just looking at weather, November was actually particularly warm. Mashable's Andrew Freedman reports that the ratio of record highs to record lows was a staggering 51 to 1 last month, and 2016 is already expected to be the warmest year in recorded history.

Climate scientists took to Twitter to lambast the tweet, as did an apparently livid Sen. Bernie Sanders (I Vt.). Lamar Smith (R Texas), a noted climate change denier with a 7 percent lifetime rankingfrom the League of Conservation Voters on environmental issues. In recent years, Smith has tried to intimidate and subpoena scientists into submission and has said the landmark Paris climate agreement is based in "science fiction."

Smith has received over the course of his career.

Thursday's tweet wasn't the first anti science message posted on the account. Others allege green groups "value politics and emotion over facts," question countries' abilities to meet climate goals and call the Paris climate deal "all pain and no gain."

The Huffington Post has reached out to Smith to see if he has access to the House's Twitter account.

Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson Van Cleef & Arpels rose gold ring fake (D Texas), the ranking member of the committee, said the tweet was "par for the course" when it comes to the majority's actions in Congress.

"They attempted to intimidate NOAA's scientists over climate change research results that they didn't like, put forth a NASA bill that gutted Earth science, and continuously attacked any effort on the part of the Administration to deal with climate change," Johnson said in a statement to HuffPost.

He does not believe in climate change.

has been a little bit of warming . but Van Cleef ring replica it been very modest and well within the range for natural variability, and whether it caused by human beings Van Cleef & Arpels gold ring replica or not, it nothing to worry about, Ebell told Vanity Fair in 2007.

More than 97 percent of scientists agree that the world's climate is warming and it caused by human activities. Yet Ebell believes this consensus of climate experts is and based on science. 2015, Ebell called Pope Francis encyclical on climate change ill informed, economically illiterate, intellectually incoherent and morally obtuse. is also theologically suspect, and large parts of it are leftist drivel, he added.
